Fine Art Paints production is now аn integral part of ROSA company overall strategy. ROSA art paints are made and developed in Ukraine in our own state-of­the-art laboratory with the use of specialized equipment. The company's highly-qualified techno­logists work in collaboration with Ukrainian artists, who have been giving their expert opinion, construc­tive criticism and guidance during the process of paint production.

ROSA Paints include of watercolours, acrylics, oil and gouache colours and аrе represented in two ranges: ROSA Gallery is designed for professional painting and ROSA Studio is аn excellent choice for students and beginning artists.Тhe colour palettes for each kind of paint аrе carefully selected оn the basis of art methodology, thus all of them have the most preferable selection of colours. ROSA paints аrе produced following the traditional formulas. This ensures expected and desirable results when the paints аrе mixed. We use only high quality materials for paint manufacture. Special attention is paid to the development of each range and colour of paint, the final product undergoing severe testing.

    ROSA Fine Art Oil Paints аге made from both orga­nic and inorganic finely ground pigments. Combl­ning carefully selected pigments with polimerized linseed oil we obtain pure bright colour with natural brilliance.

At early stage we determine key features of paints such as consistency, colour mixing, colour intensity and coating properties. Then several laboratory samples of paint are subject to the expert assessment and testing. Consequently, taking artists' remarks and recommendation into consideration, we refine the formulation of each colourto start its mass production.

    ACRYLICS

    ROSA Fine Art Acrylics are made of top quality orga-nic and inorganic finely ground pigments on the basis of up-to-date acrylic dispersions.

    The peculiar feature of ROSA paint production is that we strictly adhere to the following manufacture stages. At early stage key features of paints such as consistency, colour mixing, colour intensity and coa-ting properties are defined. Then several laboratory samples of paint are subject to the expert asse-ssment and testing. Consequently, taking artists' remarks and preferences into consideration, we refine the colour to start its mass production. The palette colours of every ROSA paint range are carefully selected to meet all the requirements. They contain semi-transparent and opaque colours and give the artists opportunity to apply various art techniques. The colours produce desired results when mixed. Up-to-date materials used to make the colours result in strong elasticity and high resistance of paint layer to temperature and humidity changes.

    They extend the drying time, which in its turn broa-dens the application of acrylic art. Finely ground ROSA Fine Art Acrylics have a slightly glossy finish.

    GOUACHE PAINTS

    ROSA Gouache Paints are produced of high-quality pigments on natural plant basis.

    Key peculiarities of ROSA Gouache Paints include excellent covering power, smooth creamy consistency and good lighfastness. Due to finely ground pigments ROSA Gouache Paints are water-soluble and can be used similar to watercolours, which allows the artists successfully embody their ideas and go beyond the borders of gouache fine art techniques.

    Excellent covering power enables painting in layers and correcting the initial painting. Smooth creamy consistency and perfect colour flow of ROSA Studio Gouache Paints provide easy and even applying on paper, cardboard, wood, plywood and primed canvas. Once dried the paints gain matte velvet finish.

    AUXILIARIES FOR PAINTING

    Auxiliary materials from ROSA involve basic mediums foroiland acrylic painting.

    Medium for acrylics, matte and glossy varnishes are for acrylic painting. Odorless solvent and linseed oils for oil painting.  Texture pastes, primer, sizing are multipurpose.

    The ROSA Gallery Medium is intended for dilution acrylic paints, as well as increasing the adhesion level between the base for painting and a color layer.

    ROSA Matte and Glossy Varnishes provide a film to protect the paintings from yellowing and scratches..

    ROSA Odorless Solvent is a dearomatized solvent for art works: oil paints dilution, viscosity reduction as wellas cleaning brushes, pallets and canvases.

    ROSA Gallery oils are designated for fine art: paint dilution, mixture of solvents and varnishes.

    ROSA Studio acrylic sizing is intended to apply before priming the bases for painting: canvases, wood, stone, and fiberboard. ROSA Acrylic Primer has been tested over the time. It has been used for manufacturing the ROSA primed canvases for many years.

    ROSA Texture Pastes are fine grained, medium grained and large grained allowing artists to create their paintings in various styles: from imasto stroke with smooth surface to dynamic structures with sand and stone texture. The pastes can be mixed into acrylic paints to make them dense or to create reliefs coated with different types of paints.
