Plein air in the Carpathians

Plein air in the Carpathians

October - a special time for artists, when nature shows its brightest colors. This is the time when the beautiful mountains turn into a canvas full of autumn colors. That is why artists choose this month to hold plein airs, where painting becomes a reflection of the beauty of the surrounding environment

From October 11 to 22, the eco-resort Izki hosted a plein air organized by the founder of the “World through the Eyes of Artists” art project Valeria Velikaya with the participation of 20 artists from 13 cities of Ukraine:

Galyna Digas, Svitlana Klymenko, Maria Podhorniak, Liubov Povorozniuk, Larysa Yermak-Dolhova, Maryna Mandrykova, Maryana Silagina, Svitlana Romaniuk, Valentyna Plavun, Ihor Hilko, Ivan Dragan, Volodymyr Bereznyi, Viktor Snisarenko, Anatolii Kazmiruk, Petro Oshurko, Svitlana Mazunina, Olha Pohribna, Olya Dashkevych, Olena Mishyna, Natalia Anokhina.

For 12 days, the artists painted golden autumn in the mountains, communicated a lot, and were filled with inspiration and new impressions.

In addition to the plein air itself, they also visited the Shipot waterfall, a farm and a cheese factory, and walked in the mountains. The plein air ended with an exhibition of incredible autumn paintings created during the two weeks and the awarding of diplomas to the participants.

ROSA was pleased to join the autumn plein air as an art partner, we are glad that ROSA oil and watercolor paints helped to create incredible autumn landscapes.

We thank the artist Valeriya Velikaya for the invitation and cooperation. See you soon!
