Picturesque Italy has once again become a magnet for the global watercolour community. This year’s large-scale Fabriano in Acquarello 2026 festival brought together around 3,000 artists from over 25 countries worldwide — from Chile and Mexico to Ukraine, Japan and Canada.
The atmospheric streets of historic Bologna and Fabriano were transformed into one vast creative workshop: live demonstrations, group performances, lively discussions, open-air painting sessions and a grand exhibition of works. Here, the history of contemporary watercolour painting was being created.

This year, the ROSA brand had the honour of presenting the full range of ROSA Gallery professional watercolours on the international stage — 100 colours in tubes and pans!
Our stand became a place of genuine enthusiasm and bold experimentation. Festival guests tested 10 hot new releases for 2026. And the true, absolute favourite at Fabriano in Acquarello 2026 was a new colour – Twilight Orange!

Ukrainian-Dutch artist Yana Ivannikova created a special atmosphere at the ROSA stand. We sincerely thank Yana for demonstrating her skill and masterful work with our materials.
We are incredibly proud that ROSA Gallery watercolours are already part of the arsenal of many renowned artists around the world. We are certain that the new colours of 2026 will harmoniously complement their palettes and help bring to life the fresh ideas brought back from the festival.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the festival organiser, Anna Massinissa, for her tremendous work, the incredible atmosphere, and the opportunity for our brand to be part of the large international Fabriano in Acq family.
